Chemical Mirrors

Alchemized Circuitry

“Chemical Mirrors” is a dark industrial meditation on identity distortion in the modern world—where biology, technology, and authority collide inside the human body. The song explores how endocrine-disrupting chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and social systems act as mirrors that no longer reflect who we truly are, but instead project an engineered version of the self.

Sonically, the track fuses cold synth textures with mechanical aggression, mirroring the sterile precision of laboratories and medical protocols. The relentless rhythms evoke production lines and institutional control, while moments of melodic tension hint at the human soul struggling beneath the circuitry.

Lyrically, Chemical Mirrors confronts gender dysphoria, bodily autonomy, and chemical intervention—not as simple binaries of right or wrong, but as a fractured reflection forced upon individuals by external forces. The “mirror” becomes a symbol of alienation: when you look at yourself, you no longer recognize whether what you see is organic truth or chemically imposed design.

Ashes in the Skycode

“Ashes in the Skycode” is a dystopian requiem for a planet rewritten by climate collapse. The song frames global warming not just as environmental destruction, but as a coded catastrophe—where rising temperatures, burning forests, and poisoned skies are tracked, predicted, and managed by algorithms instead of prevented. The skycode represents the data models, climate simulations, satellites, and policies that observe the planet’s death in real time while allowing it to continue.

Sonically, the track fuses scorched industrial percussion with glacial, synthetic atmospheres. The tension between heat and cold mirrors a world of raging fires and melting ice, while mechanical rhythms reflect humanity’s refusal to slow the machines driving the collapse. The soundscape feels vast and oppressive, like standing beneath a sky filled with smoke, signals, and static.

Lyrically, Ashes in the Skycode depicts a future where the sky no longer holds clouds or stars, but smoke, carbon, and coded warnings. The ashes are the remains of ecosystems, species, and civilizations—uploaded into databases, reports, and forecasts. Nature is no longer listened to; it is quantified. Tragedy becomes a dataset.

False Idols of the Feed

“False Idols in the Feed” is a hostile broadcast from inside the algorithm—an indictment of influencer culture and the manufactured gods of social media. The song exposes how clout, outrage, and curated personas replace integrity, expertise, and truth. These false idols are not prophets or leaders; they are optimized performances, amplified by engagement and sustained by attention.

Musically, the track is driven by mechanical rhythms and abrasive synths that mimic endless scrolling, notification pings, and dopamine loops. Repetitive, crushing patterns reflect how influencer narratives are recycled, shallow, and inescapable, while moments of distortion and collapse represent the psychological fallout left behind.

Lyrically, False Idols in the Feed portrays a digital crowd kneeling before screens—liking, sharing, defending figures who sell illusions while profiting from insecurity, division, and misinformation. Authority is no longer earned; it is algorithmically assigned. Influence becomes a weapon, and responsibility disappears behind sponsorships and disclaimers.

Experimental Beasts

“Experimental Beasts” is a brutal industrial lament for the voiceless—an expose of animal cruelty hidden behind sterile laboratories and corporate logos. The song confronts the reality of product testing on living creatures, where suffering is reduced to procedures, numbers, and “acceptable outcomes.” The beasts are not monsters—they are victims, trapped in systems that treat life as disposable.

Sonically, the track is cold, mechanical, and relentless. Harsh rhythms echo the precision of laboratory equipment, restraints, and timed procedures, while distorted textures mimic panic, pain, and resistance. Any moments of melody feel strained and suffocated, reflecting innocence trapped inside industrial brutality.

Lyrically, Experimental Beasts strips away corporate language and exposes what lies beneath it: fear, confinement, and silence. The song frames corporations as detached operators—hands clean, conscience outsourced—while animals endure experiments for profit, convenience, and cosmetic improvement. Progress becomes an excuse. Ethics become optional.

Your Heroes Will Leave Us Dead

Outersider

Anarchist's rap ballads critiquing & battling the formation of hierarchies that continue to permeate in the modern world. A record straight out of the bottom of the abyss that delves deep into the concept of cult of personality & masculinity in an attempt to practice decolonization against arbitary social constructs that’s built around the exploitation & the crimilization of our collective existence.

Leave your heroes; or your heroes will leave us dead.

"The moment you stop being loyal to your idols, it is an open opportunity to start believing in yourself into something extraordinarily vital.”

3RD IMPACT

A bleak-apocalyptic collection of songs fill with somber, but righteous rage-fueled critique against the ever-growing neoliberal performative politics that has drastically amplify the rise of fascism across the U.S. & the world at large. A record that speaks from the shattered soul of a millenial doomsday-prepper living in the 3rd Impact event of our reality.

Commute Home

rhoslug

Back before we all started having to be more careful about disease, I used to commute. The commute was close to an hour and half so it left plenty of time for boredom, contemplation, and watching the scenery. I hoped to capture some of the sounds, feelings, and spirit of the commute in this album. The pure noise that is at times cacophony and at others rhythmic. The loneliness of traveling in a crowd but everyone within their own bubble. The feeling of traveling from one strange place back to a familiar place.

Enjoy this on your own commute perhaps. Take care!

It is difficult to truly list all the people that helped make this album come to life. But an incomplete list is as follows:

- My family for encouraging me to love music and make music.
- All the fantastic musicians of the Internet and Youtube, without which I never would have contemplated making an album, learning VCV Rack, and exploring generative music.
- Particular thanks should go to Red Means Recording for showcasing how he recorded an ambient album.
- Thanks for Hainbach for showing that weird, ambient music is actually beautiful and is worth putting out in the world.
- Omri Cohen for all the tutorials on VCV Rack. I would never have even tried modular without your instruction.
- My wife for loving me through all the bleep, blooping and still encouraging me to be creative. Thanks.
