Dead Archives

DEAD ARCHIVES – Archives
Unlocking the vault of human downfall.

With the definitive album Archives, DEAD ARCHIVES cracks open the vault to unleash a monumental thrash metal assault. This record serves as a grim anthology of a fractured world, gathering the rawest, most punishing sonic documents of societal decay. Fusing relentless speed with surgical technical precision, it is a bone-shattering auditory onslaught from start to finish.

Thematic Concept: The Records of Decay
Thematically, Archives acts as a dark repository of human history's final chapters. It explores the grim reality of lost civilizations, forgotten wars, and the cold, mechanical remnants of a dystopian future. Each track functions as a blood-stained file pulled from the depths of a hidden vault, exposing the terrifying crossroads of self-destruction and chaos. It perfectly captures the project's core philosophy: a relentless, uncompromising dive into the darkest corners of existence.

Musical Demolition
Musically, the album constructs a crushing, multi-layered wall of sound that defines the very essence of extreme thrash metal:

Razor-Sharp Riffs: Hyper-fast, complex, and jagged guitar patterns slice through the dark atmosphere, driving each track forward with terrifying momentum.

Steamroller Rhythm: An unstoppable, heavy rhythm section hits with maximum force, anchoring the sonic violence like a massive machine marching through ruins.

Vicious Vocals: The vocal delivery is pure venom—commanding, raw, and cutting through the dense instrumentation with absolute authority.

The Verdict
Archives is a monument to total auditory devastation. Independent, fierce, and completely uncompromised, it is engineered specifically for those who demand their extreme metal fast, heavy, and pitch-black. Open the vault, turn the volume to the absolute limit, and let the chaos consume you.

Lyrics extract

Terror of numbed meandering
Settling the scores of ego's near departed
Vessels cracked barely hold a specter
But entry is easy nonetheless
Who then occupies what lay neglected
At the side of its despondent owner
Relegated to a mere passer by
Watching itself wither
A whore knowing nothing
Saves what was learned
Merely for degradation
Pasted over conscious remorse
Shit staining the fabric of failure
That grand tapestry
Bearing the fruitless tree
Of your life
Near uprooted
And reaching desperately
Towards the earth
Laying dead be reprieve at least
Standing
Alone
Dry husk of what was promised
Mere veneer of vitality
Drowned by rain meant to quench
Unable to savor the offering
So freely given
Where to withdraw then
From that which sustains
In acknowledgement of unworthiness.
You look don't look good to me
I can hear your dreaming
Strung out in an abyss
Chthonic urges in resistance
Compel what could not pass
To fill holes once dug into itself
With whatever had remained
Since
Leaving nothing but the broken
In perpetual recovery
Clutching on to what had seemingly gone
With such veracity
It begets existence
Or any move from the moment
Forever to be embraced
Laying in the studied projection of
What could have been so much
Erasing with a censor's ease
The inconvenient truth of times arrival
Yet alone its departure.
The moment drags on alongside you
A tether to the greater idea,
Before cracks had needed patching;
Now the chain which binds what crumbles.
Driven nails sap the strength
Purpose merely to hold firm
All upheld in resistance
To forces beyond my scope
Seemingly amassed for betrayal
Senses lose their charm as they sharpen, attuned to a devil's symphony
Frequenting the somber misery of coming impartiality
Revert then, in desperation

Lyric Extract:
How could you save a world you've done nothing for
Screaming and shouting as directed
Whenever little miss tin pot extremist
Tugs at your puppet strings
Hearts and crafts
The technique's now perfect.
You want to save a world you never saw
By destroying people you've never met
And really it's just for the self
A cultivated self
Not cultivated by you
But by your daily intake of passive media
And law
The self of man in it's dying days
Lashing out desperately for any experience it hasn't yet had
As the realization finally dawns upon it
But too little too late
Clambers to destroy all in it's place
In bitter revenge for a life now regretted.
Time is but a schedule
And it's passing an inconvenience
And when your times up, it's up
And that's that
We're so often told.
It's all the here and now
Or if desperate
To be new wave and spiritual
with an entirely sculpted mind
Perhaps it's reincarnation
More of the here and now
But you don't believe it
You know there's nothing
Other than the ravings of hopeful idiots.
Those desperate for more than Ikea
And Mcfeelings
A hellish post-nature
Post-human
Perpetual life support
A system of man's creation
The fucking hive which drones endlessly.
It's much more efficient to regulate emotions
And direct them towards the onlookers
They'll barely know what's hit them
Likewise, they'll barely know what they've hit
In fact most will barely know a thing
Whatever keeps the balance
On that fucking screen.
You want save a world you've never known
Never tried to know
Never even desired to know
But of course it's all we've got
So you want to save a world you've never known
It's all there is
Wrapped about our universe
But greater than anyone
You want to do what you've been told
Or else you might have to face something natural
