LUST

CATALOG: #012

LUST hits with that mid tempo techno feel right around ninety beats per minute. The beats bring a heavy industrial push mixed with dark clubbing and strong cyberpunk elements. Cybersynth tones run through everything and keep it sharp. A female voice with a british accent steps in with a gritty raw delivery that feels like it belongs on the radio in cyberpunk 2077.

Shadowed Echoes

Jay Musique

A laid-back lofi groove built for a late-night drive. It wraps you in a warm, nostalgic atmosphere, blending the eerie, ambient synths and metallic echoes of classic '90s cyberpunk anime with the deep, head-nodding 808s and crisp hi-hats of modern instrumental trap. The perfect soundtrack for watching the city lights blur past your window.

Shell Remnants (Slowed)

A slowed-down descent into a distorted soundscape. This version takes the original's aggressive energy and transforms it into a brooding, menacing crawl. It's the sound of a monster lumbering into view, its immense power now a slow, intimidating echo.

Shadow's Edge (Sped Up)

Feel the futuristic grit. This is the soundtrack to a late-night, high-speed run, where the city lights blur into streaks of color. This sped-up version pushes the original's gritty energy to its limit, creating a relentless and electrifying experience that's perfect for a full-throttle cyberpunk sprint.

Shadow's Edge

This track is a sonic exploration of the cyberpunk universe. The music pulses with the energy of a sprawling, dystopian city while maintaining a contemplative and slightly melancholy undertone. It's the sound of a digital ghost—a human consciousness lost in a sea of data and chrome, trying to find its way home.

Deja Vu

HRCRX

It's like accidentally finding an old flash drive with forgotten childhood games and catching deja vu. When you can't remember the moment, but you know for sure that you were already there: on the screen with a green “Start”, in a city colored by sunset light, in a simulation where everything was under your control.

This album is like the phantom vibration of an old cell phone: there's nothing there, but you definitely feel it.
Sound familiar? That's what “Deja vu” is all about.

The release is out now on Label Cantroll (EXTRA)

From the author: “I started making music when I was a kid, playing guitar and drums. Already in university, I started to write different electronic music from future beats to downtempo. The name HRCRX came from the word HORCRUX. Not that I was a big Harry Potter fan, but the concept itself seemed cool to me. After all, it is an object in which a person encloses a part of his soul”

Season of Winds

This album is inspired not by nostalgia for the 80s, but by memories from the early 00s. The music of the '00s is as old as the music of the '80s in the early '00s.

To avoid the nostalgia of nostalgia, HRCRX has added a more modern sound while staying in the genre of classic synthwave. References to some of the games and TV series popular in the early noughties can be found.

The release was released on Cantroll EXTRA, the label's additional catalog with no genre restrictions.
