Sètrâ [SE]

Wîllydây Nâmâlî

Kârâwîtân Küpíng Cûmplêng

"Sètrâ" is one of Wîllydây's most complex albums, both in terms of studio production or live performance. All the repertoires on this album are reworked arrangements of the original versions (from the albums: Kâr-Kü-Cû).

The composer blends Gamelan + Metal + Electronica in a balanced proportion, without any clash of tone scales and timbres. This concept is the result of Wîllydây's long-standing experimentation within the Avant-Garde Metal scene: since the album "Mâyít" (2017), or for repertoires of the metal band Axon Breeze (Australia, since 2017).

All pitch elements on this album use the "Nâmâlî : Pèlõg" scale [1 gêmbyâng (register) = 14 precise frequencies], which is a development of the Pelog Jawa (classic) scale. There is also a Rebab Jawa, with an extreme drop tuning (Pèlõg : Jî, Pât) following the first note on the Nâmâlî scale (Pèlõg : Pât). This technical configuration makes the string sound of the Rebab Jawa more elastic, yet heavy and dark.

Orpheus Omega

With a career spanning 4 acclaimed albums 3 EPs and countless tour cycles both
domestically and abroad, Orpheus Omega has cemented themselves as one of
hardest working and entertaining mainstays of the Australian Metal scene.

Beginning with a sound forged along the lines of the great Gothenburg Melodeath
era, the band has since grown further and further into a unique entity feeding off
each member’s individual personality and life bringing them to touring with the likes
of Insomnium, Trivium, At The Gates, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Lacuna Coil and many
many more.

The continued evolution of Orpheus Omega has kept the band relevant and ever
growing and in 2023 brings with it the release of ‘PORTRAITS’, an introspective 5 track
with each song curated by an individual member showcasing their songwriting and
own personal journey. The band is joined by collaborators Andy Gillion (Andy Gillion/
Ex-Mors Principium Est), Bjorn ‘Speed’ Strid (Soilwork/ Night Flight Orchestra), Jukka
Pelkonen and Markus Vanhala (Omnium Gatherum) and Jim Grey (Caligula’s
Horse).

DEFORMATORY

⸸
Without acquiescing to the weakness of modern metal, they reach deep into the abyss of infernal intensity to deliver a new offering of blistering madness entitled “Harbinger”.

Every song, every riff and every beat writhes through its own iterations to devour the listener beyond this EP’s 15 minute runtime. Make no mistake: these are 15-minutes you will never get back and you will never recover from. The sheer energy your soul requires to withstand this offering of musical violence will render your very core into a depleted version of itself.

The phenomenal production of this album is the work of Topon Das (Fuck The Facts, Apartment 2 Recording), who impeccably captured the essence and intensity of DEFORMATORY’s vision. Every nuance has been brought to light, mixed and mastered without sacrificing integrity in order to fit into the modern standards of extreme music. All instruments are real fucking instruments and each can be discerned without the overproduced wall of plugins & tone packs we have unfortunately grown accustomed to hearing today. There is an eerie atmosphere that lurks throughout this album and it can be heard clearly through every string, growl and cymbal.

To visually encapsulate the onslaught of Harbinger’s music, artwork was masterfully created by the one and only Paolo Girardi. He has, without any doubt, unveiled one of his best paintings to date for this album cover. Additional haunting artistic creations were devilishly assembled by UK’s Adrian Baxter to further highlight the darkness that binds the death metal onslaught of DEFORMATORY’s new EP.

This is unequivocal vitriolic rage. This is uncompromising animosity.
This is not trendy. This is not a safe place.
This is a maelstrom of maniacal death metal.
This is DEFORMATORY.

You have been warned.
Heed the Harbinger’s call.

Inversion of the Unseen Horizon

In our previous album MALEDICTION, we explored the concept of Savael, a truly maleficent entity that possessed the angel Lucifer, consumed his corpse, and became the embodiment of who we call Satan.

Savael, however, was not an anomaly, nor was he a single omnipotent being, working on his own volition.

In fact, he was but a mere droid in a complex hierarchy of vile entities, known as The Ce’naxors.

They are crafted, and programmed to infiltrate distant planets and societies, to infect their purity with darkness, and ensure their carefully orchestrated annihilation is carried out.
Savael was dispatched from their planet, which lies in the Fifth Dimension, called Cyru’xil in order to fulfill their cosmic design for Earth.

INVERSION OF THE UNSEEN HORIZON explores the origins of The Ce’naxors and the ominous landscape of their home planet, Cyru’xil, revealing their Arkitekt’s grand scheme for multiversal decimation and atomical consumption.

The Unseen Horizon is their planet, their beings and their plan.
The Inversion intimates it coming into view, from an otherwise hidden perspective.
