CementO

SRC_RECORDS presents 'FRAMES EP.', a formidable sonic construct emanating from the CEMENTO identity node. This collection manifests as a rigorous exploration of deep-frequency penetration and expansive spatial architecture, meticulously engineered for maximum impact within subterranean auditory environments. Industrial synthesis forms the foundational substrate, generating an unyielding sonic geography characterized by its profound hardware density and austere textural composition. Each segment within this offering is a precise articulation of rhythmic mechanics, designed to induce a state of profound immersion and systemic recalibration. The work prioritizes a sub-zero aesthetic, where minimalist structures converge with an authoritative, dark industrial force. It stands as a testament to the systematic deconstruction and reassembly of sound, forging an uncompromising auditory experience that resonates with brutalist precision and controlled intensity, establishing new parameters for sonic engagement.

Dark Echoes

Jay Musique

Dive into the neon-soaked abyss where the only constants are the shadows and the hum of a million unblinking screens. This track is a gritty soundtrack to the midnight crusade, blending heavy, industrialized beats with haunting, evocative melodies. Feel the cold steel in your hand as the world rushes past, a lone warrior caught between a fractured past and an uncertain future. Epic, visceral, and laced with a spectral eastern wind.

Shell Remnants (Sped Up)

A blur of raw energy. This sped-up track takes the intimidating power of the original and hurls it forward. The distorted melodies and pulsing beats are kicked into overdrive, transforming the soundscape into a high-speed chase. It’s the sonic equivalent of the monster's unbridled rampage, a direct and intense rush of pure chaos.

Trigitaliz

In the dim, grey-lit room, the crowd moved as one, each footstep syncing with the deep, pulsing techno beat. The DJ stood behind a darkened booth, adjusting the knobs, creating waves of sound that rippled through the air. The lights, muted and cold, flickered in time with the rhythm—shades of steel and silver sweeping across the room. The bass resonated in the chest, a heavy, constant thrum, grounding everyone in the moment. The air was thick with anticipation, each drop of the beat stirring something primal. No words were needed, just the pulse of the music, the hum of the atmosphere, and the grey world outside, forgotten. Time dissolved. The crowd became one, swallowed by the sound, lost in the beat, living only for the next drop.

Finnegan is Awake and Well

GIrilal Baars

David Bremer

David Bremer and Girilal Baars started scheming their duo a long time ago. But they were finally confronted with reality when commissioned to perform at Twisted Shout, the text-sound festival at Fylkingen in 2022. Joyce’s amazing linguistic whooplas were always part of the plan and judicious text-editing, experimenting and rehearsing later, you can now enjoy Finnegan is Awake and Well over and over in a sound system of your choice. Brought to you sans corporate sponsors, but with deep-felt gratitude to Piak and Daniel Westerlund.

Recorded live at Hökarängens Antikvariat.
