Whats Going On (Extended Lo-Fi Mix)

Davy David Dave

Released 28th May 2026

This is a 100% human made track that involved quite a bit of experimenting to complete. The production process involved the first time use of an old Reel to Reel tape machine, which introduced Lo-Fi artifacts such as hiss. During production, when the stems were imported into Cubase a decision was made not to use a noise reduction plugin to remove some of the tape hiss. It's an experimental track that was composed, mixed and mastered by Davy David Dave at Planet 3 Recordings. The original idea for the track was asking "what's going on?", as in what on earth is going on with the state of the world at the moment. The track has a bit of an unusual vibe, much like the unusual state of the world in 2026.

Velvet Sound

Jay Musique

This is not a party. It's a private concert. It's the sound of reflection and solitude, a calm, commanding presence in the face of a chaotic world. It's the analog warmth that cuts through the sterile digital noise of the day, a moment of deep, personal clarity before the sun rises and the world begins to demand your attention once more.

Shell Remnants (Sped Up)

A blur of raw energy. This sped-up track takes the intimidating power of the original and hurls it forward. The distorted melodies and pulsing beats are kicked into overdrive, transforming the soundscape into a high-speed chase. It’s the sonic equivalent of the monster's unbridled rampage, a direct and intense rush of pure chaos.

Shell Remnants (Slowed)

A slowed-down descent into a distorted soundscape. This version takes the original's aggressive energy and transforms it into a brooding, menacing crawl. It's the sound of a monster lumbering into view, its immense power now a slow, intimidating echo.

This track is a chill, dreamy lo-fi hip hop piece, featuring smooth, laid-back beats interwoven with delicate piano melodies and subtle ambient textures. It evokes the serene yet melancholic atmosphere of a rainy nighttime cityscape, as depicted in the artwork, where soft rain taps against the window and city lights blur into a cozy, introspective glow. Perfect for late-night listening or as a backdrop to quiet urban moments.

Shadow's Edge (Sped Up)

Feel the futuristic grit. This is the soundtrack to a late-night, high-speed run, where the city lights blur into streaks of color. This sped-up version pushes the original's gritty energy to its limit, creating a relentless and electrifying experience that's perfect for a full-throttle cyberpunk sprint.

Nightshade Echoes (Sped Up)

Supercharged and aggressive, this track pushes the original's chaotic vibe to the limit. The distorted soundscapes are warped into a hyper-kinetic fury, with the synth lines and rhythm section attacking with an accelerated, punishing intensity. This is the sound of pure, unbridled energy—a soundtrack for the moment the "dangerous and unknown" catches up to you.

Nightshade Echoes

Nightshade Echoes (Slowed)

The chase is over, but the tension remains. This version takes the original's dark, chaotic vibe and stretches it into a haunting soundscape. The reverberating synths feel more distant and eerie, while the pounding rhythm section becomes a slow, heavy pulse. It's the soundtrack for wandering through those same neon-lit streets after the danger has passed, with a sense of lingering unease.

VHS Chaos (Sped Up)

The same tension, but at double the speed. This version transforms the sound of a tense encounter into a full-blown adrenaline rush. The distortion is more aggressive, and the beat is more immediate, making it perfect for workouts, racing games, or any high-energy scenario.

This version takes the tense encounter to a whole new level. The menacing bass and distorted lo-fi groove are stretched out and slowed down, creating a soundscape that's more eerie than energetic. It's the moment before the storm, full of suspense and dread.

This track is a sonic exploration of the cyberpunk universe. The music pulses with the energy of a sprawling, dystopian city while maintaining a contemplative and slightly melancholy undertone. It's the sound of a digital ghost—a human consciousness lost in a sea of data and chrome, trying to find its way home.

Breaking Love

This isn't your typical heartbreak anthem. It's an explosive journey through a love that's been torn apart. Combining the gritty power of metal with the rhythmic pulse of trap and the ethereal, dark soundscapes of electronic music, this song captures the chaos and pain of a heart being completely shattered.
