The Cotton Town Mixtape

MC SLIP

MC SLIP's debut project, The Cotton Town Mixtape, dropped in 2009 like a brick through a stained-glass window — raw, unfiltered, and impossible to ignore.

With dusty drums, cheeky collaborations, and unapologetically rough production, The Cotton Town Mixtape captures the spirit of a young MC finding his voice — energetic, real, and full of bite. It’s hip-hop with its sleeves rolled up, delivered with the fire of someone who knows they’ve got something to prove.

A gritty time capsule from 2009 that still hits with raw authenticity — this is where it all began.

2009 28g Recordings.
