Description:
The Boner Live by The Pickle is a stand-up comedy release capturing a tight, high-energy six-minute set, “The Boner Live ’92,” performed before a live audience in 1992. Recorded in a single continuous track, the album preserves the immediacy of the moment—quick punchlines, sharp timing, and the organic rhythm of crowd reactions. As an opening act set, the performance carries an added intensity, with The Pickle working fast and confidently to win over the room and set the tone for the night.

The show was recorded at Holland Elk Lodge #1315 in Holland, Michigan while The Pickle was supporting the mock-rock headliner Hideous Piglet Wild-a-Beast on their Levels of Reality tour. The recording was previously released on the VHS compilation Dead Dog Records Various Artists: Live! by Dead Dog Records in 1992, situating it firmly within the DIY comedy and underground performance circuit of the early ’90s. As both a live document and a snapshot of a touring showcase bill, The Boner Live stands as a brief but vivid time capsule of that era’s offbeat stage comedy.
