“POV” is a collection of lofi dreams, soft piano moments, and midnight thoughts frozen in sound.
Every track feels like a small scene :a memory, a feeling, a place you’ve been, or wish you could return to.

Reflexion

Alan Colonnetti

"Reflexion" is a deeply personal track, inspired by the transformative moments of life. It was created to reflect both the beauty and the struggles of personal growth, embodying an emotional journey of looking back while moving forward. The track blends introspection with energy, creating a balance of nostalgia and optimism. Drawing inspiration from a fusion of electronic sounds and organic elements, "Reflexion" aims to capture the raw emotions of self-discovery and the highs and lows of the human experience.

The track was written during a quiet period in my home studio, allowing me to fully focus on creating a sound that reflected my thoughts and feelings. I experimented with synths and beats that mirrored the process of self-realization, where the music gradually builds to something more expansive and powerful. This setting was essential, as it allowed me to zone in on the creative flow, channeling my emotions into the track and pushing the boundaries of my sound.

"Reflexion" has been supported by the Phakama Records team, whose unwavering belief in my work has allowed me the freedom to experiment without limitations. Special thanks to Classic Central Radio, whose early support of the track has helped increase its visibility and reach. Their contribution has been invaluable in ensuring that "Reflexion" connects with a wider audience ahead of its official release on 12 September 2025. The collaboration with these incredible platforms has been key to bringing this track to life and getting it heard by the world.

about
To Be Frank, the EP by The Band Famous is a 5th dimensional journey! Venture into outer space with the far out vibes of “Space Jam”, then travel back in time to the lost city of Atlantis, back at the beginning, with “Mermaid Energy”. Rediscover the meaning of universal laws with “Golden Rule”, then you can be “On Top”.

Sounds like indie rock meets alternative, pop metal and industrial.

Djungle Fever

Trigitaliz

n the heart of a vibrant jungle, there lived a curious and lively monkey named Riff, and a gentle giant of an elephant named Ella. The jungle was their home, a place where the rhythm of the raindrops played in harmony with the rustling leaves and the distant calls of exotic birds.

One day, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow across the jungle, Riff discovered a mysterious drum hidden in a dense thicket. It was adorned with intricate patterns and emanated an enchanting energy. Riff's nimble fingers began to tap on the drum, creating a rhythm that resonated through the trees.

Ella, drawn by the captivating beats, followed the sound until she discovered Riff with the magical drum. Intrigued, the unlikely duo decided to create music together. Riff perched on Ella's back, and together they journeyed through the jungle, turning the natural sounds into a symphony.

Underneath the moonlit sky, Riff and Ella's collaboration transformed the jungle into a lively orchestra. Ella's deep and resonant footsteps became the bass, echoing through the forest floor, while Riff's nimble hands danced across the drum like raindrops. The duo harmonized with the nocturnal sounds of the jungle, creating a melody that enchanted all the creatures around.

As their music echoed, other animals joined in. Birds added melodic tunes, monkeys provided playful beats, and insects contributed rhythmic buzzes. The jungle came alive with a vibrant concert, a celebration of unity and harmony.

Word of the magical musical duo spread throughout the jungle, and soon, animals from far and wide gathered to witness the enchanting collaboration of monkey and elephant. The jungle, once a cacophony of separate sounds, now resonated with a unified symphony that echoed through the treetops.

Tricks of the Light

The Light Dreams

Light can be deceptive. We cannot see without it. We rely on it completely. But if it hits a surface at an unusual angle, or reflects off an object that we didn’t know was there, we can be taken by surprise. We might see something out of the corner of our eye that we find disturbing. We’re not sure whether it actually happened – was it real, or wasn’t it?

New experiences can help us to resolve the issues at the heart of such questions, to enable a clearer view of the truth of what is going on around us. The music of this album provides a focus for our exploration of the mysteries that lie in the world as it really is.

Pink-slipped

Acef Stripe Recordings

Pink-slipped was a collection of songs that came together during a tumultuous time of labor strife in the US. The UAW was striking, others being laid off, and of course, the Bandcamp dismissal of half their loyal workers. I choose a sketch i found that my father made of a somewhat weathered but proud man. The pink backdrop revealing his vulnerability. I could almost see him in the room as they told him his job was over. No longer as strong and optimistic as the new workers but always loyal to a fault. A life given to a cause that had always planned to erase him.

To all my artist friends out there, we are stronger together.
