Lone Start

Mikaere

The further from the start you are the closer the end feels.

Mikaere returns to Sound & Object bringing more of the wistful deep house he showcased on Passeriform. Lone Start is shaded with the nuances of melancholy, but uplifting undercurrents bubble up at the edges. The tracks feel fluid, organic and unsettled as opposing emotions vie for control. A regretful look back or a hopeful look forward? An end or a beginning?
