ON THE PULL

IzziesCaravan

Izzie’s Caravan – On the Pull stands as the band’s breakout declaration: a gritty, no-frills EP where searing guitar riffs, Hammond brightness, and raw blues fury collide in perfect rebellion.

From the first incendiary chord on the title track, you're thrust into a rush of guitar tones that “steal the show” with “extremely robust” precision . The drums keep the momentum tight yet wild, while a gritty organ “adds just the right amount of glue” to fuse the sound together . Meanwhile, the vocals strike a perfect balance between clarity and attitude—captive yet commanding .

On the Pull earned comparisons by Record Niche to classic acts like Ten Years After and Derek & The Dominoes, calling the EP “a nostalgic sound that fires on all cylinders” . Groove Mag adds that the EP storms out of your speakers with “Jagger swagger and Zeppelin flair” . Independent Music Magazine calls it “original fury and fire,” praising its blend of classic blues-rock with a fresh, modern bite .

Accolades followed fast: the title track and EP soared into the Relix Jamband Charts, while single “Drownin’ Man’s Blues” hit #1 on iTunes Blues charts in South Africa .

Crafted in the wake of lightning-fast EP releases (Leo’s Guitar and Zephyrs), On the Pull feels like the moment when the Caravan renounced caution and leaned into full-throttle swagger. It’s bold, it’s wild, and it drips with unpolished honesty—like a late-night dive bar brawl turned into music
