BLOW THE LID

IzziesCaravan

Blow The Lid is where Izzie’s Caravan detonates into full-throttle force — a relentless blues-rock blast dripping in raw riffs, knockout hooks, and no-filter attitude. From the moment Roadkill Rita roared into existence, the band’s path was all but set: unapologetic, gritty, and craving mayhem. The title track didn’t just arrive — it exploded onto the scene, hitting #1 on the UK iTunes Blues chart and shattering preconceptions with blistering fire.

Critics were knocked also — IndiePulse said Blow The Lid "blasts you with killer riffs and energy akin to that of a live gig," while JamSphere praised it as “raw and abrasive, rocking, soulful and bluesy as hell,” a full-tilt statement that proves the Caravan’s flame has only grown hotter.

SoundLooks lauded the album’s technical confidence, calling it “a technically proficient and confident band,” delivering moment after moment that demands your ear, demands your soul. Even the label couldn’t stay quiet — nodding at the LP as a “Nomination for Album Of The Year!” while calling its sound “dirty, gritty, raw and rockin’ bluesy riffs.”

Ten restless months and eight scorching tracks later — there’s also the 18-minute colossus Curse of Anastasia, a genre-hopping journey described by Izzie as “Iron Maiden meets Hans Zimmer” — and the world’s finally got the sheet music for their scorched-earth story.

Blow The Lid isn’t just an album. It's a furnace, a manifesto, and the moment a sound turned into a statement. Strap in. It’s going to burn.
