Richard Roy Curtis, better known as Yellaboy Juice, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter originally from San Antonio, Texas, who spent most of his life in St. Petersburg, Florida. He grew up in poverty and was raised in the streets. After being incarcerated for armed robbery, he served four years in the Florida Department of Corrections. Even during that time, he remained true to himself. His music reflects the streets, drugs, violence, and the environment he was surrounded by. "Chain Gang Baby" is an EP of songs written while he was incarcerated. His single “Free Squeeze is dedicated to his younger brother, who is still incarcerated and expected home between 2027 and 2028. "Miss My Ahk" is an album dedicated to his Muslim brother, Gee Soulja, who passed away in 2023. Many of his songs and album covers also honor friends who always wanted to make music but never had the chance to, including his closest friend Lil Mafioso (Royce). He continues to keep their names and faces present in his work so they are not forgotten.
