Fields of Few

Lights & Illusions

Time Rival

Lights and Illusions is a beautiful record. I’d say it was effortless in its excellence but Fields of Few worked really hard on it, and it shows. Every second of this record oozes light, via the choice of synth textures and melodies brimming with shining hope.

Nocturnal Summer Drift

Whether we're talking forays into dance-worthy electronica or glorious keyboard arrangements, every last track on Nocturnal Summer Drift is an out and out banger. Pretty arpeggios and synth flourishes dance in a mesmerising array of technicolour sunshine beams, a warm musical blanket to maintain agreeable temperature in a night-scape of electric giddiness. You'd have to hate your ears not to treat them to this fabulous selection.

Polar Vessels

Polar Vessels opens with a cool icey blast of momentum and doesn't let up for the duration of its generous run-time. This dazzling full-length effort from Fields of Few hops deftly between aural glaciers in a flurry of synthesizers and mechanistic percussion, always drawing a tap from the listener's foot and erratic bobbing of the head. You're taken through a frozen cyberpunk city soaked in lo-fi sunshine and slick frosty sheen. It's a gorgeous fusion of approaches that adds up to a spectacularly fun and supremely danceable listening experience. Get on this.

Sines & Signals

Bath, UK producer Tim Gilbert's Fields of Few project bursts into the Triplicate Records canon with an unbelievably brilliant little EP called 'Sines and Signals'. Across these five gorgeously colourful techno tunes, the amount of treats and delights packed into such a brief musical outing must be heard to be believed.
